Matthew and Jentry met through mutual friends at a party one night and Jentry immediately thought he was very handsome. Matthew had just been to a wedding and was wearing a suit with dress shoes but felt silly without his hat, so he was wearing that too. Her friend insisted they meet and then proceeded to spend the entire night talking to one another. Matthew ended the night with a kiss and a date for the following Friday evening. They began dating after the first date, got engaged 8 months later, and married 13 months after the day they met.

The couple currently lives on Matthew’s family’s ranch outside of Post, Texas where Matthew raises cattle and trains horses. Jentry graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Agricultural Communications and Matthew studied Agribusiness at West Texas A&M.
