Big Bend in the Spring is breathtaking. The ocotillo is in bloom, the vegetation is green, and the cloud cover provides a respite from the desert sun. This image was captured outside our porch at Willow House in the Spring of 2020, prior to the national park closing in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Stuart and I escaped to the desert to reset, connect with nature, and connect with one another.
